Album of the month/season:
It's properly into Autumn now which means IT'S TAKE THIS TO YOUR GRAVE SEASON!! It's time for me to move my fan off my record player and put on my third favourite Fall Out Boy album, an essential marker of the season.
Song I'm obsessed with atm:
When You Were Young - The Killers
I love this song and I like interpreting it in a lesbian way for maximum emotional punch. Definitely need to listen to the whole sometime.

Recent thoughts and ramblings
- I LOVE GINA YOUNG!!!!!! I listened to her 2002 album Intractable a few days ago and I've been OBSESSED ever since. I've been needing mad and sad at everything music again recently and they hit that spot perfectly. God I love queer art. 10/10 album.
- Been getting more into the killers lately. Sam's Town is a great album, love For Reasons Unknown.
- I've realised why it hasn't felt like October yet, I haven't started my yearly Jennifer's Body soundtrack listenin again. I love I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance so much it's hard to put into words, when will anyone put the experience of being very in love with your girl best friend with a boyfriend to such a good fun song again.
- I've been really into Sabrina Carpenter recently, her music just feels so light and fun. Short N Sweet is a really easy listen, perfect for when I want to throw on some good music without really focusing on it. I think she brings a really refreshing air of fun and cheekiness to her lyrics that's been missing from pop for a while. It's a shame her tour is way too expensive bc it looks super creative with the presentation and even without that her just performing would probably feel like one hell of a party. Maybe one day....(or I can keep my eyes peeled for a club night ;P)
- Pale Waves just released a new album!! I haven't really listened to anything past their first 2 albums even though I've been a fan since I was 13 (and I've missed 2 of their concerts T-T third time lucky). I'm 4 songs into it as I'm typing this and Not A Love Song is my favourite so far (excluding a single that hasn't come up yet called Kiss Me Again). This album seems to have a lot of what I loved about the albums I'm familiar with, but it can feel a little like retreading old ground subject-wise. Love them though so it's all good.
